1. 称呼 (chēnghu) – to call; a form of address

  1. 在中国,对不同的人有不同的称呼,比如叫老师或师傅。

    Zài Zhōngguó, duì bùtóng de rén yǒu bùtóng de chēnghu, bǐrú jiào lǎoshī huò shīfu.

    In China, there are different forms of address for different people, for example, calling someone ‘teacher’ or ‘master’.

3. 一辈子 (yībèizi) – all one’s life

  1. 他一辈子都住在农村,没有去过大城市。

    Tā yībèizi dōu zhù zài nóngcūn, méiyǒu qùguò dà chéngshì.

    He has lived in the countryside all his life and has never been to a big city.

  1. 我一辈子都不会忘记这个温暖的瞬间。

    Wǒ yībèizi dōu bù huì wàngjì zhège wēnnuǎn de shùnjiān.

    I will never forget this warm moment as long as I live.

4. 农村 (nóngcūn) – countryside

  1. 我们从小在农村长大,对那里的生活很熟悉。

    Wǒmen cóng xiǎo zài nóngcūn zhǎng dà, duì nàlǐ de shēnghuó hěn shúxī.

    We grew up in the countryside and are very familiar with the life there.

    熟悉 shúxī – familiar (HKS 4)


  1. 政府正在努力改善农村的基础设施。

    Zhèngfǔ zhèngzài nǔlì gǎishàn nóngcūn de jīchǔ shèshī.

    The government is working hard to improve the infrastructure of the countryside.
