1. 忙碌 (mánglù) – to be busily occupied

1. 他每天都忙碌地工作，几乎没有时间陪伴家人。

   Tā měitiān dōu mánglù de gōngzuò, jīhū méiyǒu shíjiān péibàn jiārén.

   He is busy with work every day and has almost no time to spend with his family.

2. 被动 (bèidòng) – passive

1. 在这次谈判中，我们处于被动状态，不得不接受对方的条件。

   Zài zhè cì tánpàn zhōng, wǒmen chǔyú bèidòng zhuàngtài, bùdébù jiēshòu duìfāng de tiáojiàn.

   In this negotiation, we were in a passive state and had to accept the other party’s terms.

4. 虚伪 (xūwěi) – hypocritical

1. 我讨厌那些虚伪的人，他们当面一套，背后又是一套。

   Wǒ tǎoyàn nàxiē xūwěi de rén, tāmen dāngmiàn yī tào, bèihòu yòu shì yī tào.

   I hate those hypocritical people; they say one thing to your face and another behind your back.

   讨厌 tǎoyàn – to hate

   背后 bèihòu – behind one’s back

1. 他的笑容很虚伪，让人感觉很不舒服。

   Tā de xiàoróng hěn xūwěi, ràng rén gǎnjué hěn bù shūfú.

   His smile was very hypocritical, which made people feel very uncomfortable.
