1. 上去 (shàng qu) – to go up

1. 我上去拿行李箱。 Wǒ shàngqu ná xínglixiāng. I go up to get the suitcase.

1. 他上去五层了。 Tā shàngqu wǔ céng le. He went up to the fifth floor.

1. 电梯马上上去。Diàntī mǎshàng shàngqu. The elevator goes up immediately.

2. 下来 (xià lái) – to come down

1. 他从楼上下来了。 Tā cóng lóu shàng xiàlái le. He came down from upstairs.

1. 我下来拿包。 Wǒ xiàlái ná bāo. I come down to get the bag.

1. 太阳下来了。Tàiyáng xiàlái le. The sun came down (set).

3. 进去 (jìn qu) – to get in, to enter

1. 我进去图书馆借书。 Wǒ jìnqu túshūguǎn jiè shū. I go into the library to borrow books.

1. 他进去拿筷子。 Tā jìnqu ná kuàizi. He goes in to get chopsticks.

1. 我们进去开会。 Wǒmen jìnqu kāihuì. We go in to have a meeting.
